How do I know if it is the line or the tank?
If the tank was pumped recently and the drains still back up, the line between the house and the tank is a common suspect. A technician checks the line first and tells you plainly if the problem is the tank, so you know to call a septic company.
Is sewage backing up into my house an emergency?
We offer 24/7 emergency service for plumbing emergencies. We count two things as emergencies: an active flood or broken water pipe, and sewage backing up into the home. Anything else is booked into the next available slot.
What is a cleanout, and why does it matter?
A cleanout is a capped access point on the line outside the house. Without one, clearing a blockage can mean pulling a toilet to get in. Where a line has none, we can install one so the next visit is simpler.
