How soon can someone come out?
We book same-day when we can get to you, and the next available slot when we can't. Call and we will tell you honestly where you sit in the day.
My garbage disposal just hums. Is it worth repairing?
A hum usually means the motor has power but something is jammed. That is often a straightforward fix. If the unit is leaking from the body rather than a connection, replacement is normally the better call, and we will say which one you are looking at.
Should I repair or replace an old fixture?
It depends on the part and the age. Washers, cartridges and valves are routine repairs. A fixture that has been repaired repeatedly, or one where parts are no longer made, is usually cheaper to replace outright.
What should I do about a leak right now?
Shut off the supply at the fixture if there is a valve, or at the main if there is not, then call. Stopping the water first limits what you are dealing with by the time anyone arrives.
