Plumbing service from our Fort Myers team.
Plumbing repair, water heaters, drain and sewer clearing, and remodel plumbing for Fort Myers homes and businesses. Shop on Metro Parkway. Call (239) 542-0787.
Fort Myers is home. Our shop and office are on Metro Parkway. One recent Fort Myers call was sewage coming up into a homeowner's shower. The blockage was in the main sewer line and the home had no outside cleanout, so we traced the line through the yard, dug down to it and installed a new two-way cleanout. Then we hydro jetted the main line clear and tested the drains through the house. Another Fort Myers job was a bathroom remodel for a general contractor: a tub turned into a walk-in shower, with the toilet and sink moved and the drains rerouted through the slab.
What changes the plumbing here
- City water starts out brackish
- If your water bill comes from the City of Fort Myers, your water starts as brackish, salty groundwater from the Floridan Aquifer. The city purifies it with reverse osmosis. Phosphate is added before it leaves the plant for corrosion control.
- Look up your service line
- The city has now identified the material of every service line it once listed as unknown, and you can search your address at fortmyers.gov/lcrr. In December 2025 it sent notices to customers with galvanized lines that need replacing, and its five-year plan budgets for service line replacement. The city notes it cannot control the materials used in the plumbing inside your home.
- The river surged during Ian
- The National Hurricane Center put Hurricane Ian's peak storm surge up the Caloosahatchee River in Fort Myers at 5 to 8 feet above ground in 2022. The surge reversed the river's flow and flooded city streets. If your home took on water then and plumbing trouble keeps coming back, it is worth a look.
